Under the program Design & Diversité, Emilie Grangie, Emile Kirsh and I conducted a design workshop at Lycée des Métiers de l'automobile et du transport du Château d'Epluches à Saint Ouen Au Mont, with vocational students specialised in car mechanic. The goal of the program was to present the design profession to the students and to promote their expertise.

We chose to work on kitchen utensils with the students. For a week, we showed the students different design methodologies from brainstroming, sketching, modelling and prototyping. With their skills in car mechanic, the students made various kitchen products out of car components.
